This month, I saw the trailer for The Great Gatsby. I’ve been looking forward to its release for a while now – we read Gatsby in AP Lit this year, and I love the style of Baz Luhrmann’s films. They have such an energy about them, and it allows them to stand out from other modern films in a beautiful way, I think. I’m personally not a huge fan of Leonardo DiCaprio, but I do agree that he’s well suited for Gatsby’s role and I’m excited to see how he handles the character. What the trailer here
