A lot of people wonder what exactly it is that makes a good TV show, movie, or video game in this particular case. But my seven months spent studying writing at VFS has really emphasized not only the importance of story, but character. Without characters, a story doesn’t mean anything, and without an actor to portray those characters, they’re just ideas. So if there’s a point to this post, I’d say it’s that well written characters in an equally well written story will more likely inspire not just a group of people but entire generations.
