Welcome to the Why Media Matters Contest 2. The Gulf Islands Film & Television School is celebrating over 15 years of turning dreamers into filmmakers with a BIG high school contest. Every school that is registered is guaranteed to win a full tuition scholarship – value $565 – to attend the acclaimed week long Media Intensive Program at GIFTS during the summer of 2012. The scholarship can be upgraded to take the advanced 2 week Director’s Program. A 50% scholarship may be awarded as a second prize, space permitting. The winner or the participating high school will need only pay for room and board ($295 + tax).
