ABORIGINAL MEDIA INTENSIVE PROGRAM

Tell your own stories.

Taught by Aboriginal media professionals, this is a one-week, media production intensive for First Nations, Metis, Inuit and other Aborginal peoples. Students create a short film or animation from start to finish in teams of 3 or 4. We emphasize storytelling, learning-by-doing, and practical small-budget filmmaking skills, within a safe environment which promotes focused creativity.

A two-day program designed for adults interested in learning or teaching various aspects of film & video production. Our curriculum is tailored to the specific needs of participants who can choose to focus on production, post-production or visual effects and animation. Very popular with teachers and working professionals, this course features an exceptional student to instructor ratio which guarantees maximun support. The emphasis is on process rather than product, and includes discussions on teaching techniques proven effective in training youth in video production.
