Special Program

Aug 06-Aug 20

Peace It Together
a project with The Creative Peace Network

The Program
From August 4th to 21st, 30 Israeli, Palestinian and Canadian youth will gather in British Columbia for a transformative summer program initiated by The Creative Peace Network. After meeting and greeting each other in Vancouver, the youth will gather at The Gulf Islands Film & Television School. Once here, they will work in small groups to create original films about their lives, hopes and their fears. Participants will hear each other's stories, learn new communications skills, and break down the barriers that prevent sustained peace. They will also take home a tangible product that they can share with the world.

The films will premiere at the film school on the evening of Saturday, Aug. 19th at 7pm (info 1.800.813.9993), with a Gala screening to take place in Vancouver at the Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage on August 20th at 7pm (contact CPN for info).
