Post-Production

Do you already have a good understanding of story development and a few camera skills under your belt, and yet still mystified by the edit suite? Or have you been bitten by the editing bug and want to learn more? This course provides an opportunity for students to expand their editing skills by focusing on the wide world of post-production.

Students will use stock footage as a starting point to launch into learning how to create a seamless finished product using a non-linear, digital editing system. Students will work on Adobe Premiere Pro, Flash, AfterEffects and Adobe Photoshop to experience the design potential of the post-production process. This course will also allow for more time to learn about how to optimise the use of sound, and how to manipulate text for titling and credits.

This is where much of the"magic" finds its way into the movie.
