A fun and intensive one-week introduction to the realm of animation, this unique hands-on course focuses on the principals of motion, technical production skills and the creative process of animation using 3D materials, with an emphasis on clay. In-camera edit exercises allow our students to see the immediate results of their creative experiments in motion, guiding them through the process of developing ideas for an animated short.

Following their storyboard, the students are guided through the process of making their animation come alive through the camera. Foley workshops provide instruction in sound recording techniques, allowing students to begin the amusing process of recording their sound effects.

The finished short animation is transferred to video. Be prepared to spend a lot of time brainstorming, experimenting and laughing your head off. People of all artistic backgrounds will enjoy and benefit from the unforgettable experience of learning how to produce this popular form of entertainment!
