A PROGRAM is a category of focuses. The type of program determines cost and length of stay at GIFTS. For example, the Media Intensive Program (MIP) is a weeklong program offered throughout the spring, summer, and fall.
A FOCUS is a course that is taught within a program. For example, the Dramatic Video Production (DRA) focus is taught during the MIP programs throughout the spring, summer, and fall.
A SESSION is a period of time at GIFTS. The length of the session is determined by the program. For Example, during the July 11-17 session, the MIP program is offered. The focuses avaliable during this session are Dramatic Video Production (DRA) and Documentary (DOC).
You must register for a SESSION. You may then choose the FOCUS within the PROGRAM that you wish to take during your stay at GIFTS.
