Courses & Programs Focuses Advanced Documentary

Designed for GIFTS grads (GIFTS Documentary or Drama prerequisite) who want to expand their media skills and dive right into the area of production they are most passionate about. The advanced technical workshops cover the use of a Sony PD150 digital camera and a professional lighting kit, and provide students with more extensive post production training. Advanced Drama students produce two videos in the course of a week. The first video project sets a definite challenge: complete a one-minute piece - script, storyboard, act on camera, interview, shoot, edit, music and credits - in just the first day! Our mentors challenge the filmmakers' ideas and give them the resources for more complex expression in their second video.
