GIFTS 10th Year Anniversary Celebration
“You only get to turn 10 once. And for those of us who’ve had the GIFTS’ experience we know just how special and magic this place is, and why it is so important to celebrate it. This event is also a once in a lifetime opportunity to reconnect with old friends, colleagues, and staff from GIFTS, find out what they are up to, and share stories about where our lives have taken us. During GIFTS’ existence over 1200 films have been made. These films have won over 200 national and international awards. As a school we have given away over $230,000 in scholarships and bursaries and now have an alumni over 4000 strong! If this isn’t a reason to party, we don’t know what is!!!”
Hello GIFTS Alumni!
You must now all be aware of our very exciting 10 Year Anniversary Celebration and Gala. This event is going to make GIFTS history and we want you to be a part of it! We are attempting to reconnect over 4000 alumni and over 200 staff members at this event. It’s going to be huge and we already have a large amount of confirmed alumni and entertainment. In addition, this event is going to include our annual Eyelens Film Festival, funding for the very vital GIFTS Bursary Fund, dinner, awards, entertainment, and a party you will not forget. We also have a few very special tricks up our sleeves planned as the night goes on. However, before we give out any more secrets, we need you to give us your latest contact information. Once completed, you will very shortly receive a full package outlining this event, its venue, how you can be involved and submit/display your own work, and more importantly, your official invitation to this event!
**Important: For those of you that will not able to attend this event due to reasons such as travel or work, please continue to update your contact information to find out how you can still be a part of our 10 year anniversary. We are currently working on a few special ways to get you involved and reunited with past friends and filmmakers and to still experience this night of GIFTS history! We will include these special ideas, once finalized, in your email package regarding this event once your information has been updated.**
How do I confirm my spot at this event?
Once your information is updated you will be receiving a package via email (unless otherwise requested) outlining this event and also your official invitation. You are encouraged to bring friends and family but we need you to RSVP as soon as possible. Once you have decided how many people you will be bringing please visit our RSVP confirmation page to confirm your spot at this event. There are many exciting ways to attend this event including a special VIP package giving you the best seats, a GIFTS DVD and more! We cant wait to see you all again!!!
