Early Teen Programs

Monster Movie was created during our Early Teen Week in 2000. It has shown in festivals in Canada and the US, recently receiving Runner-Up for Best Drama at the Burbank International Children's Festival in California. 2003 Early Teen Sessions |
The one-week Early Teen Media Intensive Program offers students aged 12-14 an action-packed week of hands-on training. Just as with our other Media Intensive Programs for Adults or Youth, students work with other creatively motivated students to produce a short video or animation. The small size of the production teams (3-4) ensures that each person participates in every facet of the production process and gets to work on the professional level equipment available at the school. GIFTS is especially talented at bringing amazing creativity and production stream together with our early teen groups. Please watch the videos from previous years (an example is posted to the right) for an idea of what is possible.
