This week-long program is primarily designed for high or middle school teachers interested in teaching media literacy, script writing, video production, and visual effects and animation. Program participants work in teams of 3 or 4 to produce a drama, documentary or animated short with the guidance of a professional media producer. The emphasis of the program is on process rather than product, and includes ongoing discussion of various teaching techniques proven effective in training youth in video production.

Note that the major difference is that this course is focused on technical skills and the ability to transmit them to others. Thus, the creative element is given a backseat, and students will spend less time on fine tuning their story and more time on the tools of the trade.
