Due to overwhelming demand and limited space, we are beginning our intern search for the 2014 program year now.

Open exclusively to GIFTS alumni, the GIFTS Internship Program is a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in film making and digital media, to network, build relationships and connect with other like-minded emerging media makers, and to gain self-confidence in your craft while living at GIFTS!

Daily schedules will vary depending on the programs being offered during each session, but Interns are expected to be available to the Site, Sessions, and Technical Departments. Typically, interns will assist with the production process by reporting to the program mentors, as well as the administration and technical operations of each program by reporting to the Technical Director. Interns are also expected to lend a hand keeping the camp clean, helping out in the kitchen and assist the catering department, act in student films, be role models for the students, and generally share their passion of film making with everyone around them.

All GIFTS Interns are provided with complimentary Room & Board for the duration of their stay.

Before applying, candidates need to be familiar with our programs and the school. The prerequisites are:

• 1-week program of choice

• 2-week Director’s Course

• 1-week intern training
