This weekend or week-long program is primarily designed for high or middle school teachers interested in teaching media literacy, script writing, and video production, documentary and visual effects and animation. The emphasis of the program is on process rather than product, and includes ongoing discussion of various teaching techniques proven effective in training youth in video production.

Workshops given include media literacy, screenwriting, visual storytelling, tech: camera/lights/sound, an in-camera edit exercise and digital, non-linear editing.

Resource material will be distributed for use in classrooms. Participants in the week-long program will produce a short video in groups of 3 or 4.
