Beaters is a Documentary created during a MIP session in 2000 that has screened at festivals in Canada and the US.

Beaters received the Craft Award for Best Editing at the National Student Film & Video Festival, 2001.

Powerful documentaries incorporate elements of drama and journalism and use a wide range of innovative styles to tell stories about the"real world". Developed by award winning documentary producers, this course teaches you how to make "true stories" entertaining and engaging. Learn about interview and research techniques, paper edit decision lists, sound, lighting and non-linear editing. This course can also introduce you to secret stories of the Gulf Islands.
