It’s been such a fun summer so far. New drones, steadicams and new tripods. Our game design has moved away from Game Maker and into the UDK Unreal development kit to make 3d playable game level environments. The camp is enjoying the new projector and screen. Nice new rolling computer chairs along with some nice new monitors. The new wardrobe, make up and prop room have been a great addition. The rooms and washrooms renovated, new bunks and new paint with much more to come. As one of the new owners I have to thank all the school groups and students who have attended this year. It had been the most amazing experience, especially to see the finished films, games, actors, documentary’s that our students produce at the end of every week. GIFTS was the reason that I had a career in film and television for 14 years - from Vancouver to Las Vegas to Bermuda and now back to Galaino Island. I have come full circle and now I am in the position to give students what GIFTS gave me; The opportunity.
