One of GIFTS founding mentors, Brett Gaylor, has recently joined the Mozilla Foundation as the new Project Manager of their Web Made Movies drumbeat Project!

Following the success of his hugely popular documentary RIP: A Remix Manifesto, Brett has now joined the Mozilla Foundation to help spearhead Web Made Movies - an innovation lab transforming the way we create and experience video on the web.

“Its a way for filmmakers and software developers to work together to create video in an open source, participatory process. The aim of this project is to think outside the familiar player window, beyond the TV on-demand model, and envision what online video can be when it is woven into the fabric of the web.”

Congrats to Brett on his continued success with the award-winning RIP, and now his new position as Project Manager at Mozilla!
